Wife burned him with hot glue gun after he asked for divorce, Arkansan tells police

An Arkansas man told police that his wife burned him with a hot glue gun after he said he wanted a divorce, according to a police report.

Jonesboro officers wrote that the 30-year-old man Friday reported his wife "became agitated" when he told her he wanted a divorce before using the glue gun on his hand, causing second-degree burns.

The man said his spouse also threatened to kill him and "any women [he] messed with," the report states.

Authorities noted that the report came three days after the 26-year-old woman told authorities that her husband had physically abused her in the past and had recently threatened to kill her.

In that police report, the woman was said to have received an order of protection.

It wasn't clear if any arrests had been made.
