Two teens have been arrested in the armed robbery of a discount store in North Little Rock.
Malcolm Spencer and Malik Arnett, both 19, each face a charge of aggravated robbery in the holdup Tuesday night of the Dollar General store at 1701 Pike Ave., the North Little Rock Police Department said.
Officers responded about 9 p.m. The robbers were said to still be inside, and the SWAT team was later called to the scene, according to a police statement.
Spencer and Arnett were reportedly interviewed and arrested. An arrest report for Spencer said he "admitted going into the Dollar General armed with a gun and robbed the business."
Records show both suspects were booked into the Pulaski County jail after 3:30 a.m., and each remained in there later Wednesday morning with bail not yet set.
