Bentonville
• James Earl Canada Jr., 47, of 2717 Aspen Lane in Rogers was arrested Thursday in connection with theft by receiving and forgery. Canada was being held Thursday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.
Fire
Rogers
• Firefighters put out a fire at 8 p.m. Wednesday at 302 N. Casey Lane. No one was injured, but the fire extensively damaged the basement. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, said Capt. Dennis Thurman, Fire Department spokesman.
Police
Fayetteville
• A vehicle was reported stolen at 3:13 p.m. Wednesday at 863 W. Dickson St.
Rogers
• A robbery was reported about 7 a.m. Wednesday at Lifetime Dental near the intersection of North Dixieland Road and West Olive Street. Police said the male suspect was 5-foot-9-inches tall, medium-build and he took an undisclosed amount of money.
