Will miracles never cease?

We don't agree with Paul Krugman often. Or maybe just anything after the first five words of his columns. But we do agree with his nearby essay that NAFTA, and free trade generally, is good for this country. And the globe.

We're reminded of a comment attributed to Frederic Bastiat, a 19-century economist from the Old Country: "When goods don't cross borders, soldiers will."

We know which we prefer.
