Dr. Kathy White Loyd, interim dean of the College of Business at Arkansas State University, has been named "Woman of the Year" by the Jonesboro Business and Professional Women.

The Arkansas Advanced Energy Association presented the following awards at its sixth annual meeting: Morris Jenkins was announced as the winner of the 2017 Ron Bell Advanced Energy Leadership Award, Gerardo Galdamez was named the Advanced Energy Rising Star Award winner, and Entegrity, a sustainability and energy services company, was named the Advanced Energy Business Innovation Award winner.
