Police: $30,000 sound system stolen from UALR campus ministry

A $30,000 sound system was stolen from a Little Rock college campus ministry, according to a police report.

A campus pastor reportedly told officers Sunday afternoon that the Chi Alpha house at 2913 Fair Park Blvd. had been broken into.*

The Christian organization's $30,000 sound system was taken as well as a keyboard, safe and $500 in cash, the report stated.

Another representative of the group told the pastor that members had left the house about 10:30 p.m. Friday and made sure all the doors were locked, according to police.

Officers found that the lock of the backyard shed was broken, but nothing was missing from there. The burglar reportedly appeared to have entered the house through the side door.

Police have named no suspects, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
