The Festival of the Senses at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 4106 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, will open its 2017-18 concert series at 7 p.m. Sept. 12 with a free performance by the Saint Mark Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir. Second Baptist Church, 1709 John Barrow Road, will host the the Arkansas Gospel Music Heritage Month Weekend Celebration beginning at 6 p.m. Friday with a meet-and-greet dinner with Grammy Award-winning gospel singer Dorinda Clark-Cole and a concert at 7; the dinner is free for registered guests and $20 for unregistered guests.
