MALVERN — Malik Brewer ran for three first-half touchdowns and Lake Hamilton (2-0) pulled away from Malvern (0-2).
Utah Aitken passed 18 yards to Kanaan Williams and Jacob Nichols ran 19 yards for fourth-quarter touchdowns after Malvern cut the lead to 42-27.
Brewer ran 28, 33 and 25 yards for touchdowns in the Wolves’ 35-point first half. Jackson Johnson returned a punt 54 yards for a Lake Hamilton touchdown and Randall Nichols’ two-point conversion set the halftime score at 35-14.
Nichols ran nine yards for Lake Hamilton’s biggest lead, 42-14, with 5:02 left in the third quarter.

Jordan Hart accounted for three Malvern touchdowns with a 28-yard pass to Parker Freer and runs of 7 and 3 yards. Demias Jimerson started the Leopards’ rally with a 63-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
