MUSKOGEE, Okla. -- Bentonville West rallied from a 10-point deficit with 27 consecutive points as the Wolverines knocked off Muskogee in Bentonville.
Muskogee (1-2) led 24-14 after Jacob Medrano hit Diante Crutchfield with a 17-yard touchdown pass with 42 seconds before halftime, but West needed only 25 seconds to respond as Will Jarrett hit Stefan Banda with a 13-yard touchdown pass to make it a 24-21 game at halftime.
Jarrett hit Banda again -- this time from 27 yards -- to give Bentonville West a 27-24 lead with 8:01 left in the third quarter. Jonas Higson added a 15-yard touchdown run on a fourth-down play at the 5:54 mark in the third quarter, and he bolted 51 yards for another score, giving the Wolverines a 41-24 lead with 3:16 left in the third quarter.
Jarrett finished with 317 yards on 21-of-27 passing.
