Authorities identify 2 men hurt in weekend shooting in Arkansas

Authorities have identified the men wounded in a shooting in northeast Arkansas over the weekend.

In an email Monday afternoon, Jonesboro police Sgt. David McDaniel said Deonte Love, 20, and Richard Bogan, 26, were both shot in the 1800 block of Cedar Heights Drive around 10:45 p.m. Saturday.

After officers responded to the scene, Love was reportedly taken to a local hospital. He has since been released, police said.

Bogan was transported to a hospital in Memphis. McDaniel said Monday afternoon that his condition is unknown.

During a phone call Sunday morning, Sgt. Cassandra Brandon said no arrests had been made in the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
