Little Rock police say a man was punched in the neck late Friday and then robbed of cash.
Officers found the 31-year-old victim at a residence in the 8000 block of Mabelvale Pike north of Interstate 30, according to a police report. The man had abrasions on his head and was spitting up small amounts of blood, police said.
The man told investigators he had been sitting on his porch smoking a cigarette when three male assailants walked up, punched him in the throat and left with $500.
The man, who officers said appeared intoxicated, was taken to a local hospital to receive treatment.
As of Monday morning, officers had been unable to locate the robbers.
