UPDATE:

A crash that had blocked part of Interstate 630 has now been cleared.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation said before 8 a.m. that the eastbound lanes of I-630 near Fair Park Boulevard were back open, though it might take traffic some time to return to its normal flow through the area. At one point, the Arkansas Online traffic map showed vehicles stopped onto Interstate 430.

At 8:30 a.m., the map still showed slow conditions.

EARLIER:

Eastbound Interstate 630 was backed up for several miles Monday morning after a wreck near Fair Park Boulevard, authorities said.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation said shortly after 7 a.m. that the middle and outside lanes of the highway were shut because of the crash. It wasn't clear if anyone was hurt, and no estimate on when the lanes would reopen was given.

Westbound traffic was not affected.

The Arkansas Online live traffic map showed traffic on the eastbound side backed up to Interstate 430.
