An 84-year-old woman was robbed while unloading groceries outside her home Thursday night, according to a report from Little Rock police.
The woman told officers she was getting groceries out of her vehicle on Mellon Street, about a block from Meriwether Park, when the robber approached her from behind around 8:05 p.m.
The male assailant, who the woman could not describe and said may have been wearing a mask, reportedly shoved her to the ground, pulled out a silver gun and demanded her wallet.
The woman said he then jumped into the passenger side of a truck and fled down Mellon Street.
The woman’s credit card and identification card were found Friday morning, police said.
As of Friday afternoon, no arrests had been made.
