Arkansas driver dies after losing control in curve, hitting ditch

An Arkansas man died after losing control on a state highway Sunday morning, police say.

Mark E. Einder, 62, was driving north on Arkansas 123, south of Mount Judea, when he lost control on curve and went off the road around 10:45 a.m., according to a preliminary crash report.

State police said the 2003 Suzuki struck a ditch. Einder, who is from Pelsor, reportedly suffered fatal injuries in the wreck.

Conditions at the time of the crash were said to be clear and dry.

At least 361 people have died on Arkansas roads this year, according to preliminary state police data.
