A 29-year-old Little Rock man was arrested after he was discovered asleep in a vehicle with his 4-year-old son sitting next to him and an open beer bottle at his feet, according to a police report.

North Little Rock officers said they observed a vehicle parked in the 1000 block of West 33rd Street shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday.

Lorenzo Reynolds was reportedly asleep and sitting unbuckled in the driver's seat while the engine was running. His 4-year-old son was found sitting in the front passenger seat, not in a child safety seat, authorities said.

The report stated that there was an open Bud Light bottle near Reynolds' feet, and officers noted "an odor of intoxicants."

The child was taken by his mother from the scene, police said.

Reynolds was taken to North Little Rock police headquarters and reportedly blew a 0.122 during a blood alcohol content test. The legal limit is .08.

Jail records show he was booked into the Pulaski County jail about 5 a.m. Sunday and faces charges that include DWI and endangering the welfare of a minor.

As of Monday afternoon, he remained at the jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.
