You know, there are some days to just ignore the rantings of Gitz and today is one of those. This one is all over the map. The guy seems to be getting more senile in his old age. BTW, that photo in the print edition needs an update Gitz. I checked out your faculty photo from Lyon and you've AGED a bit.

Kudos to the Ark. Dem for attempting balance but as you can see by the post from Rbear the left is too intolerant to even recognize that opposing views even exist. The left has become the very thing they once railed against, bigoted, intolerant, mean-spirited and outright dangerous.

I remember a Trump rally last fall in which security grabbed a protester by his arms and marched him out. While he was restrained, a brave Trump supporter punched him in the back of the head. I guess the sucker-puncher represents all Trump supporters? UC-Berkeley has almost 40,000 students. It has a history of social protest, and some of the students take it too far. That's what students do. There are more than 4,000 colleges and universities in the U.S., only a few of them are running off speakers. It's hardly a national problem. Perhaps Liberty U. students are more polite and welcoming than most campuses, or maybe they're just sheep.

Skeptic, you mistake criticism for intolerance, a common problem with the right. If we don’t lock step with you, we are considered “intolerant.” Hah, good one. BTW, you are just another of the sheeple on the right who can’t provide critical reasoning in support of Gitz. You just fanboy him as if that’s supposed to make you look intelligent.

Dr. Gitz once again hits the nail on the head. But the comment about Gitz's physical appearance did show an abundance of that vaunted "tolerance and critical reasoning", so kudos for that.

Delta, I just find it interesting that he keeps running with a dated photo.

RB, we would love to hear some of your vaunted "critical reasoning" of this column. What, exactly do you disagree with?
Gitz nailed it on every point.

RBear can only attack the messenger. Point, game, set, match, Dr. Gitz for the win.
.
Modern day libs just will not tolerate intolerance. Morons.

As I stated in my comment, this one was just not worth wading through. It was about the dumbest one he's written. I waste my time on the good ones and this wasn't one of them. Moz, even if I did I know you'd have a hard time getting through the rebuttal, much less Gitz's column.
...
Tell you what, reading comprehension quiz. Sum up in a couple of paragraphs the key salient points of Gitz's ramblings. Let's see what you found "enlightening" about it. Don't copy and paste. Use your own words.

If you didn't read, and it's not worth wading through and rebutting, why on earth are you here? Surely you wouldn't waste all of those incredible critical reasoning skills you possess on an article you haven't even read. Don't you have some other columnist's photographs to compare?
