Police: Burglars shatter door in break-in at Little Rock pizzeria

Police say burglars shattered a door at a Little Rock pizzeria but took nothing after entering Tuesday morning.

The Little Rock Police Department responded shortly before 5 a.m. to U.S. Pizza Co. at 9300 N. Rodney Parham Road in reference to a commercial burglary.

At the scene, officers noticed that a glass door on the business’s patio had been broken, according to a report.

Surveillance footage showed two people, each with their faces covered, approach the business on foot. One later broke the restaurant’s glass door with an unknown object, police said.

Both burglars then walked into a back office and rummaged through several drawers, according to authorities. Officers said they also searched a cash drawer at the front counter but were unable to find money.

Nothing was taken from the U.S. Pizza in the burglary, an employee told officers.

No suspects were named, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
