Where I live: Majestic Pointe neighborhood in Maumelle.

Occupation: I am retired from the hospitality industry. I had the privilege of being general manager for Wranglers on Rodney Parham Road. I helped design and open Midnight Rodeo, another well-known night spot. I managed concessions for the Riverfest Amphitheatre for 3 years. My most memorable position was being food and beverage director for Verizon Arena. My latest gig was managing food service for Country Club of Arkansas. A cardiac event four years ago put an end to what I believe was an exciting career helping people have a great time, a great meal and leave a satisfied guest.

My favorite space is: My partner, Rich Orvis, designed our home. We have a huge, comfy living, dining and entertainment space. All windows face Pinnacle Mountain, so my favorite space is my chaise that I lovingly share with two cats and a dog. I can always see Pinnacle, where my father-in-law's ashes were strewn over 20 years ago.

Why? We found this land before there were any roads up here and fell in love with it. We watch the seasons change, and there is no better place in Maumelle to see the sunset.

If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: put two chairs and an ottoman where my chaise sits, that (would give) me and the pets more options.
