No gardening is involved when the Quapaw Quarter Home and Garden Club gets together on an almost-monthly basis.
But food and fellowship are involved. March 27 was no exception when Dana and Wally Nixon opened their home in the 1500 block of Louisiana Street to neighbors and friends. The theme of the March party was soup and salad.
Guests also got a chance to see the Nixons' renovations to their 1920s home, which features a huge kitchen with a metal ceiling.
