The second annual airing of the Beverly Hills Dog Show on USA Network airs at 5 p.m. today, and with encore showings at 8 a.m. Monday and noon April 8.

More than 1,200 dogs representing 175 eligible breeds and varieties are slated to compete. The canine contestants will walk an awards show-style red carpet after group judging. The two-hour event also includes special features depicting canine life in Beverly Hills, as well as the traditional dog show judging of breeds and groups. The evening culminates with the crowning of best in show.

Hosts of the event are longtime dog show judge David Frei and actor John O'Hurley (Seinfeld). Maria Menounos serves as red carpet correspondent and Mary Carillo will report from backstage. Also on hand are Dr. Even Antin (People magazine's Pet Vet), Stella Maeve (The Magicians), and Marcc Rose and Wavyy Jones (Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G.). Flynn, a bichon frise that was the 2018 best in show winner at Westminster Dog Show, will be in attendance.
