Benoit, who has released 20 albums since his debut in 1993, also owns Tab Benoit's Lagniappe Cafe in Houma, La., his hometown. He is the founder of Voice of the Wetlands, an organization promoting awareness of the receding coastal wetlands of Louisiana. Benoit is featured in a related IMAX movie Hurricane on the Bayou.

Born Tyler Stephen Cassidy and formerly known as Krispy Kreme (until the doughnut outlet objected), Froggy Fresh first became famous for his 2012 video, "The Baddest," which has attracted 11 million views. He is also known for "Haters Wanna Be Me" and "Best Friends." He released a debut album, Money Maker (Reloaded) in 2012, followed by Dream Team in 2014 and Escape From Hood Mountain on Feb. 15.

The Melissa Aldana Quartet will perform at 9 p.m. today at South on Main in Little Rock. Tickets are $44.75, $33.50 and $29.
Aldana, a tenor saxophonist, left her native Chile in 2007 to pursue a jazz career. She graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 2009 and released a debut album a year later. She has since released three more CDs, and in 2013, she won the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition, which included a $25,000 award and a recording contract with Concord Records.
The show is the fourth and final in the Oxford American's 2017-2018 Jazz Series.
