Arkansas voter registration process

Are you on time?

• You must register no later than 30 days before an election in which you wish to vote. The deadline for the May 22 elections is Monday, April 23.

• The postmark on a mail-in application will be considered the submission date.

Where's the form?

• www.sos.arkansas.gov

• County clerk's offices

• Revenue or Motor Vehicle offices

• Public library

• Disability agency

• Military recruitment office

Do you have what it takes?

• Be a U.S. citizen.

• Be an Arkansas resident.

• Be age 18 or turn 18 on or before the May 22 election.

• Not be a convicted felon (however felons can seek to have their voting rights restored).

• Not be presently adjudged as mentally incompetent as to your ability to vote by a court of competent jurisdiction.

Are you who you say you are?

You must provide either:

• Your driver's license number.

• The last four digits of your Social Security number, or

• Check the box in No. 9 on the application to indicate that you do not possess either forms of identification.
