Where I live: the Oxford Valley Community in Mabelvale. It’s considered part of Ward 7 in Little Rock, as Southwest Little Rock is, geographically, only two to three blocks away.

Occupation: I work at Uni-Tee Graphics and Designs as my wife, Monica, and I are co-owners of this business. I’ve also formed an exploratory committee concerning the possibility of running for a seat on the Little Rock Board of Directors.

My favorite space is: My living room. My wife and I like to relax in the double recliner in front of our big-screen TV, watching Netflix on a Saturday night. My favorite Netflix series so far has been Luke Cage. Here, I also watch older martial arts movies with Bruce Lee and most National Geographic-style documentaries. And Monica and I watch her “girl flicks.”

Why? This routine never gets old. We may not do it every weekend, but when we do, it’s like an inner getaway from the cares of life. The time we spend here is normally our last bit of down time before Sunday-morning service at our church, Bountiful Blessings World Fellowship. Aside from our bedroom, my prayer closet and the kitchen, this is where we like to be.

If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: Be here more often. And maybe install a wood floor, which we have discussed.
