An Arkansas man has won $250,000 in a scratch-off lottery game, officials said Thursday.

Doyle Franks of Shirley bought the $10 Big Money Multiplier ticket at Red River Market on Arkansas 16 in Shirley, according to a post on the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery's Facebook page.

He told lottery officials that he plans to help out his family with the prize.

In a separate Thursday post, the lottery wrote that a player who won $120,000 in the Natural State Jackpot has yet to claim the prize.

That ticket was reportedly sold in Barling at Big A’s, a convenience store at 1210 Fort St.

The ticket was a winner in the game's Wednesday night drawing when the numbers drawn were 2, 11, 14, 17 and 36,

Each Natural State Jackpot ticket costs $1 per play.
