Curletta's grand slam caps Travs' burst

TRAVELERS 8, ROCKHOUNDS 5

Joey Curletta's grand slam capped a five-run seventh inning Saturday night as the Arkansas Travelers earned an 8-5 victory over the Midland RockHounds in front of 8,026 at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock.

Leading 3-0 going into the bottom of the seventh inning, Midland brought in reliever Joel Seddon after starter Ben Bracewell allowed just 4 hits with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts over the first 6 innings. Seddon got the first two outs of the inning as Logan Taylor struck out swinging and Donnie Walton grounded out, but that's when the Travs began to rally.

Kyle Lewis doubled to center field to start the inning before Logan Taylor hit his fifth home run of the season to left-center field for a 7-4 lead.
