MORRILTON -- Peyton Wright connected with Tim Williams for three first-half touchdowns, including one for 82 yards, as Searcy (1-0) led 27-26 at halftime, then held Morrilton (0-1) scoreless the rest of the game.
Sawyer Jackson started it off for the Lions with a 23-yard touchdown interception return early in the first quarter. Wright passed 14 yards in the third to Tanner Leonard for another touchdown. Johnson Guthrie scored two rushing touchdowns (21, 1) for the Lions.

Dylan White threw for two Morrilton touchdowns and ran for another.
Keywan Shavers sacked Wright for a safety to give the Devil Dog a 2-0 lea, while Jesus Arias added a 24-yard field goal for a 5-0 advantage.
