Andrew Zimmern is a fixture on the Travel Channel. The James Beard award-winning chef and culinary explorer is currently host of Bizarre Food: Delicious Destinations, which ends its season Sept. 4. Through the show viewers have visited fascinating places, seen mouth-watering food and heard some really good stories.

The schedule includes:

• 8 p.m. Tuesday -- Zimmern showcases legendary hot spots and culinary treasures in Hollywood. Highlights include steak and martinis, steamed whole fish plated like a work of art, Armenian flatbread topped with minced beef, and Persian ice cream.

• 8:30 Tuesday -- The scenic Door County, Wis., where the host samples fresh fish from Lake Michigan and local produce that defines the Nordic-influenced cuisine of the area.

• 8 p.m. Sept. 4 -- Zimmern heads to Cape Cod to check out coastal cuisine that includes fried clams, fresh-caught cod, clambakes and cranberry bog ice cream.

• 8:30 p.m. Sept. 4 -- The season ends in Genoa, Italy, a stunning location bursting with vibrant herbs and ancient techniques where Zimmern samples peasant seafood salad, pesto with pasta and crispy flatbread.
