Catherine Stewart Robinson Dan Clark Young

Wedding vows were exchanged by Catherine Stewart Robinson and Dan Clark Young at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, in Christ the King Catholic Church. Officiating were Monsignor Francis I. Malone and the Rev. Rory Yates of Fellowship Bible Church.

The bride is the daughter of John Charles and the late Cheryl Stewart Robinson of Garland, Texas. Her grandparents are the late Barbara and Daniel Webster Stewart III of Minden, La., and the late Carolyn and James Fletcher Robinson of Jackson, Miss.

Parents of the groom are the late Dolores H. and James Weakley Young Jr. of Crawfordsville. His grandparents are the late Laura and James Young of Crawfordsville and the late Genevieve and William Hundhausen of West Memphis.

The chancel held two large arrangements of cedar, Douglas fir, burgundy gladiolus, deep red roses, pink astilbe, wax flower and pink larkspur.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a ballgown with a bodice embellished with Swarovski crystals and beading and full tulle skirt. She carried a bouquet of red, burgundy, pink and white roses, dahlias, red charm peonies and evergreens.

The bride named her late mother as an honorary matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Bingham, Jessie Fuchs and Rachel McDonald, all of Little Rock; Lauren Brown of Springfield, Mo.; Lauren Hickey of Kansas City, Mo., sister of the bride; Rachel Logan of Houston; Erin Rybak of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Julianna Stewart and Reagan Stewart, both of Bossier City, La., and cousins of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Jillian Hickey of Kansas City, niece of the bride. They wore gowns of black lux-chiffon and carried petite versions of the bridal bouquet. Flower girl was Grace Young of Mount Dora, Fla.

Dr. Robert Percy Young of Little Rock was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Russell Bailey, Aaron Bragg, David Glover, Scott Irby and Patrick McAlpine, all of Little Rock; James Roberts II of El Dorado; Joel Bishop of Benton; and Blake Rutherford of Washington. Guests were seated by Collin Hickey of Kansas City; and David Mitchell Jr. and Thomas Watson, both of Little Rock.

A reception was held at the Capital Hotel. Tables were decorated with arrangements of red and burgundy roses, red orchids, red berries, hanging amaranthus, ranunculus, cedar and Douglas fir. Music was by the Memphis Soul Review.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in health administration from Texas A&M University. She is an executive director at Arkansas Children's Hospital with leadership oversight of the sections of Child Maltreatment, Child Psychology, Adolescent Medicine and Community Pediatrics. She is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

The groom graduated magna cum laude and with a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee and with honors and a law degree from the University of Arkansas Law School. He has a master's of laws in taxation from the University of Florida. He is a member of the Trust and Estates Practice Group of Rose Law Firm and a fellow in the American College of Trusts and Estate Council.

The couple will live in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Miami Beach, Fla., and Asheville, N.C.
