HARDY -- Conway scored the game's first 11 points and then had to hold off the host Rebels for a victory in the Ronnie Brogdon Classic at Highland High School.

Christian Williams led Conway with 14 points, while Caleb London and Terry Clary added 12 each. Conway went on to build a 21-point lead before Highland pulled to within 49-44 late in the third quarter.

For Highland, Ethan Pena scored 19 points, while Wes Taylor scored 17.

DeWITT 70, ROSE BUD 63

HEBER SPRINGS -- Junior guard Caleb Brown scored 23 points and the Dragons (3-7) fought back from a 10-point halftime deficit to skin the Ramblers in the Landers Cowboys Chevrolet Holiday Classic.

Rose Bud (3-13) led 32-22 at the half but was outscored 29-14 in the third quarter and 48-31 in the second half.

Junior Seth Courtney added 19 points for DeWitt. Junior guard Ian Bomer led Rose Bud with 26 points while juniors Keaton Bates added 16 and Stetson Nix 15.

HEBER SPRINGS -- Junior guard Zane Butler scored 34 points and the Eagles (9-1) were 8 of 8 from the free-throw line in the final 1:40 in earning a victory over the Yellowjackets in the Landers Cowboy Chevrolet Holiday Classic.

Butler was 11 of 13 from the free-throw line.

HARDY -- Sophomore Coby Everett put in 24 points as the Cougars (20-2) routed the Bruins (5-3) in the Bad Boys Mowers Classic at Highland High School.

Junior Justus Cooper and sophomore Caleb Faulkner added 22 p0ints each for Izard County.

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Seniors Marcedus Leech and Kyle Moore each scored 12 points as the Hurricane (8-3) topped the Cougars (2-6) in the first round of the Poplar Bluff Shootout.

Sophomore Keylin McBride and junior Shamar Pitts each added 10 for Jonesboro, which led 34-21 at the half.

ARDMORE, Okla. -- Shaq Brewer scored 17 points and the Tigers rallied from a seven-point deficit after the first quarter to advance in the Ardmore Holiday Festival Tournament.

Ray McIntosh added 16 and Jakaylyn Jackson 11 for Central (9-1).

Central plays Del City, Okla., in tonight's semifinals.

FORT WORTH -- Auburn signee Allen Flanigan scored 27 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and handed out 4 assists as the Patriots toppled Southlake Carroll in the first round of the Whataburger Tournament.

Sophomore Keylon Harris added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists while senior Airion Simmons was good for 10 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 blocked shots and 3 steals.

The Patriots (7-2) play Mansfield, Texas, in today's second round.

JONESBORO -- Junior Alex Mero scored 22 points and the Bears (12-8) knocked off the Thunderbirds in the semifinals of the Northeast Arkansas Invitational.

Mammoth Spring, which will play Ridgefield Christian in today's championship game, picked up 11 points from senior Jacob Golden.

HARDY -- Junior guard Detrick Reeves scored 11 of his 23 points in the first quarter as the Patriots (6-2) cruised to a victory over the Trojans (2-10) in the Bad Boys Mower Classic at Highland High School.

Marion scored the game's first nine points and led 23-5 after one quarter. Senior Timothy Ceaser tacked on 20 points for the winners.

NEOSHO, Mo. -- Senior guard Brahm Harris scored 16 of his game-high 26 points in the second half as the Hornets (7-4) pulled away from the Mets (12-6) in the Neosho Holiday Classic.

Harris hit 10 of 18 field-goal attempts and 5 of 6 free-throw attempts. He also had 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.

Sophomore guard Josh Denton added 11 for Maumelle.

Senior Jacob Profit led eStem with 18 points while junior guard Jacob Sanders put in 15.

NEOSHO, Mo. -- Morrilton scored 10 of the final 12 points of the first quarter as the Devil Dogs (5-7) thumped the Titans (1-6) in the Neosho Holiday Classic.

Senior point guard Jansen Bell hit 8 of 15 field-goal attempts for a game-high 19 points while freshman guard Joseph Pinion added 18 points. Xavier Wright added eight points and eight rebounds.

HEBER SPRINGS -- Seniors Mathew Holifield and Will Sitkowski combined for 43 points as the Southerners (10-3) downed the Eagles (9-3) in the Landers Cowboy Chevrolet Classic.

Holifield scored 22 points and Sitkowski 21 as Southside jumped out to a 33-21 halftime advantage. Devan Howard added 11 for Southside.

Sophomore Braxtyn McCuien was good for 14 and junior Jaheim Cummings 13 for Mayflower.

HOT SPRINGS -- Sophomore Jalen Ricks scored 18 points and freshman Nick Smith added 17 as the Bears routed the Mustangs in the Spa City Classic at the Hot Springs Convention Center.

The Bears (10-1) outscored the Mustangs 45-15 in the second and third quarters.

Junior DeShaun Fowlkes hit four three-pointers to finish with 12 points for the Bears, who won their fifth in a row.

Senior Mason Thessing scored 11 points to lead Perryville (9-4).

NEOSHO, Mo. -- The Blue Devils (10-2) scored 20 of the game's first 22 points in rolling to a victory over the Eagles (4-5).

Senior guard Terry Burgess led the Devils with 16 points while senior guard Calvin Paige added 14 points while handing out seven assists. Junior Chris Moore put in 13 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, handed out 3 assists and blocked 2 shots.

JONESBORO -- Senior Taylor Griffin scored 18 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as the Lady Pioneers (12-2) defeated the Lady Bearcats (8-4) in the Northeast Arkansas Invitational.

Sophomore Izzy Higginbottom also scored 18 points and handed out four assists for Batesville, which held a 36-23 advantage at the half. Junior Reese Gardner was good for 12 points.

Sophomore Hannah Boling and senior Emily Pate each scored nine for Brookland.

DUNCANVILLE, Texas -- Senior Asiyha Smith scored 12 points in leading the Lady Wampus (11-1) over San Antonio Veterans Memorial in the second round of the Sandra Meadows Invitational.

Earlier in the day, Smith scored 17 points and the Lady Cats hit 11 three-pointers on their way to a 59-45 victory over Briarcrest Christian of Eads, Tenn. Conway also picked up 13 points from senior Myia Yelder and 12 from senior Reagan Roetzel.

Tracey Bershers added 10 and Tiya Douglas nine for Northside, which led 29-15 at the half.

Libby Stutts added 13 for Heber Springs, which led 35-15 at the half and 42-19 after three quarters. Bailey Francis scored 16 to lead Mayflower.

Senior Kadyn Johnson and sophomore Aubrey Isbell each scored 18 points to lead Mountain View (13-2) while senior Kaley Shipman added 17 points.

Junior Elauna Eaton added 15 points, sophomore Tylei Wofford-Byrd 13 and senior Mya Love 11 for Nettleton which came up with 21 team steals and 19 assists while committing only 2 turnovers.

Katie Dreiling and Halle Rich each scored six points for Valley View, which trailed 52-12 at the half.

MOUNTAIN HOME -- Senior Whitlee Layne scored 24 points and the Lady Panthers (16-3) outscored the Lady Cardinals 22-9 in the second quarter on their way to a first-round victory in the 1st Arkansas Bail Bonds Invitational.

Senior Macy Dillard added 13 points and senior Kinley Stowers 11 for Norfork, which held a 36-23 lead at the half.

Senior Alexis Roach and sophomore Trinity Johnson each for 11 points for Farmington (10-2).

PARAGOULD 50, HIGHLAND 45

MOUNTAIN HOME -- Paragould outscored Highland 21-8 in the first quarter and then had to hold on to defeat the Lady Rebels in the 1st Arkansas Bail Bonds Tournament.

Senior Kaylssa Hollis led the Lady Rams (8-3) with 15 points while juniors Alex Brengard and Taylor Beasley each put in 10 for Paragould, which saw its lead cut to 32-23 by halftime and 43-35 at the start of the fourth quarter.

Freshman Briley Pena's 23 points paced Highland (8-4) while junior Abby Dietsche scored 13.

HEBER SPRINGS -- Senior Abbie Jiles hit 11 of 13 free-throw attempts on her way to a 26-point effort in the Lady Raiders victory over the Lady Southerners in the Landers Cowboy Chevrolet Holiday Classic.

Riverview (9-4) trailed 31-26 at the half but outscored Southside 26-4 in the third quarter.

Junior Parker Smith was 8 of 8 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter. She finished with 19 points while freshman Makayla Baker added 10 points.

ROSE BUD 63, DeWITT 31

HEBER SPRINGS -- Senior Hailey Vaughan tossed in 33 points in leading the Lady Ramblers (10-5) over the Lady Dragons (1-9) in the first round of the Landers Cowboy Chevrolet Holiday Classic.

Freshman Kyndal Rooks hit all seven of her free-throw attempts and finished with 15 points for Rose Bud, which held a 35-20 lead at the half.
