What does it do: The battery operated mills (four AA batteries each) use a ceramic grinding system that is adjustable for fine or course grain. Viking Grain Acacia Wood Cutting Board
What's to love: A cutting board that's pretty enough to be used as a cheese tray or for serving hors d'oeuvres.
What does it do: The two-inch thick cutting board is 20-by-14 inches and made of end-grain Acacia hardwood. Viking suggests that the end grain of the wood allows for knives to glide between the wood fibers which minimizes wear on knives. The board has shallow cut-outs on each end to aid in lifting the board off counters or tables and the natural oils of the
wood help make the board water resistant. The cutting board sells for $80.
