Sing: Learn the stories behind the songs as the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra presents Music City Hit-Makers, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3 p.m. Feb. 11 at Robinson Center Performance Hall, Markham Street and Broadway, Little Rock. Songwriters Chris DeStefano, Marcus Hummon and Rivers Rutherford, who have written songs for Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton and Carrie Underwood, among others, will share stories and perform with the orchestra. Spring: It will start to feel a lot like spring at the State Fairgrounds, 2600 Howard St., Little Rock, when the Arkansas Flower and Garden Show begins. Workshops and demonstrations with experts, children's programs and lots of shopping will be open to the public, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. March 2-3 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. March 4.
