— Mike Anderson recaps Arkansas' win over Vanderbilt and looks ahead to tomorrow's game at Ole Miss:

Mike Anderson

-Each game continues to get magnified, so we have to go out and play well.

-I don't know if the rumors about Andy Kennedy are true, but he's a good friend of mine. He's done a great job there. He's a great guy and done a tremendous job, and I have nothing but admiration for him. If he's not coaching Ole Miss he'll be somewhere soon.

-Adrio hasn't practiced yet. Who knows, we may go small. Ole Miss a lot of times plays with four guards. Adrio will probably be a gametime decision.

-Daryl and Jaylen are doing well in the scoring department. People are keying in on those guys. Guys like Dustin, Trey and Anton have to be able to score for us as well, but I'm most focused on our defense. As we move on down the schedule it's going to be more difficult.

-I expect to see an Ole Miss team that's going to compete. They always do. They're a team that likes to get up and down the floor, and they've been in a lot of close games. They got up 11-0 in one of their last games. Winning is a habit, and sometimes losing can affect your psyche.

-We'll see if we can take this thing on the road. You have to defend for 40 minutes and maintain the energy level. We have to take care of the ball, too, and that's one thing that concerns me.

-First of all we have to find Terence Davis in transition. He does a good job getting to the basket and making some really tough shots. He made us pay the first time we played. He's really important to what they do. Davis scored a season-high 30 points in the teams' first meeting this season.

-I expect the guys at the 4 to play much better. Gabe is kind of emerging, and he's grading out really high because of his basketball IQ and doing a lot of the grunt work. That's certainly one of the bright spots. That makes things competitive with the seniors between Arlando and Dustin, too.

-There's a sense of urgency every time we go out. The next game is the biggest game on the schedule, and they know they have to play some of their best basketball on the road. We've been talking a lot about getting better.

-Anton Beard is doing OK since his ankle injury at Florida.
