Appropriation bill sails through House

House lawmakers approved a general appropriation bill Tuesday to fund the central government in fiscal 2019. The bill's passage is required to kick off the fiscal session.

The roughly $1.3 million appropriation, House Bill 1002, includes expenses and reimbursements for judges, representatives and senators.

No lawmakers objected to the appropriation as it passed by a vote of 94-0. The appropriation bill was forwarded to the Senate for consideration.
