Hall says FTs need an upturn

By Bob Holt

This article was published February 14, 2018 at 2:24 a.m.

Arkansas forward Darious Hall (20) tries to shoot over Mississippi forward Bruce Stevens during the second half of Tuesday’s victory in Oxford, Miss. Hall tied a season high with 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the victory.

Maybe Arkansas Razorbacks freshman forward Darious Hall should start shooting free throws from behind the three-point arc.

This story has a underlying message. Kennedy gets $4.0 buy out of his contract for just quitting. What a joke all this has become. And the AD is saying they need more money in the salary pool.
I've never favored paying student-athletes in addition to giving them the "opportunity" to gain an education. But this business plan structure is out of control. TV revenues have changed the model. No college coach is worth this kind of money. Pay the players and quit the facade of this being anything other that semi-pro sports.
