Oakley Sisemore of the University of Central Arkansas was named Southland Conference Hitter of the Week on Tuesday.
Sisemore led UCA in batting average, on-base percentage and extra-base hits as the Bears rebounded from a season-opening 3-1 loss to Tennessee-Martin to defeat North Texas 5-4 and Grambling State 10-0. Sisemore went 2-for-3 in each of UCA's three games, while slugging 1.000 and reaching base at a .667 clip. After collecting a single and a double against Tennessee-Martin.
