FORT SMITH — A bench warrant has been issued for a Fort Smith woman charged with permitting abuse of her 18-month-old daughter, who police say died last week at the hands of the woman's live-in boyfriend.
Sebastian County Circuit Court records show Sierra Ann Johnson, 20, was arrested Jan. 1 on drug charges and bonded out of jail.
A petition filed Wednesday by the Sebastian County prosecutor accused her of violating the conditions of that bond when she was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony permitting abuse of a minor in her daughter’s death.
She posted a $7,500 bond Tuesday to get out of jail on the permitting abuse charge.
