Robber makes off with woman's car

A carjacker followed a woman and then robbed her of her car in the parking lot of Outlets of Little Rock on Tuesday, police said.

Officers were called shortly after 2 p.m. to a robbery at 11201 Bass Pro Parkway on the city's southwest side, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

There, the 48-year-old victim told investigators that she was approached as she got into her silver 2012 Chrysler 300 by someone who had his hands in his hoodie pocket.

"Drop them keys," the robber reportedly said while pointing at her as though he was holding a gun.

According to authorities, the carjacker left in the stolen car and was last seen traveling toward a nearby Love's Travel Stop.

Witnesses said they saw the carjacker standing on the sidewalk outside the shopping center's Nike outlet and he later followed the victim to her car in a south parking lot.

The robber was listed as a white male, about 6 feet tall. His age was not immediately clear.

He was reportedly wearing "dirty blue jeans" and had a gray hoodie pulled over his head, officers said.

No suspects were named, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
