3 gunmen forced him into car before beating, robbery, teen tells Little Rock police

A Little Rock teen was beaten and robbed by three people Thursday, police said.

Officers were called to the 4400 block of West 28th Street shortly after 9 p.m. and found a 17-year-old with a missing front right tooth and abrasions on his arms and face, according to a report from the city's Police Department.

The victim told police he was walking from the Fairpark Food Mart to the Islamic Center of Little Rock when a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis pulled up to him. Three people inside the car, all wearing red hoodies, reportedly pointed handguns at him and forced him into the vehicle, which was being driven by a female.

The robbers drove him to a red home near the 4300 block of West 28th Street and forced him out of the vehicle, the report states. The trio then punched and kicked him while taking his iPhone 7, wallet containing $200 and shoes, he told police.

A stranger from a nearby residence reportedly came outside and chased the robbers back into their vehicle.

The teen then ran to a home nearby to call police, according to the report. He was taken to Arkansas Children's Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Police have named no suspects, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
