Little Rock chamber hires a vice president

The Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce has hired an executive vice president.

James Reddish will start March 1.

He is leaving a job at the Council for Adult and Experimental Learning in Chicago, where he has worked for the past 2½ years. He worked with community leaders on job growth.

Before that, Reddish was the vice president of economic and workforce development at Greater Louisville Inc., which is the Kentucky city's regional chamber. He led education and workforce development as well as economic development.

Jay Chesshir, the Little Rock chamber's president and chief executive officer, said Reddish is a talented, experienced and results-driven leader.

In a statement, Reddish said it's never been more important for business and community leaders to work together on shared challenges and promote regional growth.
