Fayetteville officers arrested Marcell Steve Guevara, 40, after the victim, who was reportedly "bleeding profusely" was hospitalized with multiple stab wounds Saturday, according to a report from the city's Police Department.

At the hospital, the injured individual told medical staff that Guevara stabbed him at a Fayetteville home, the report states.

After speaking with a woman who was with the victim, officers learned that Guevara and the victim had been drinking at the home earlier in the day. The stabbing occurred during an argument, according to the report.
