The main difference in the two teams is the professionals running the programs. Arkansas has a caretaker and Kentucky has a coach.

Hogs have the veteran team, but have never learned to play as a unit. Too much blacktop basketball, especially Barford. He rarely plays team ball, and he can't play defense.

Anderson is getting really good at the pained look on his face.

Picture says it all. Hasn't got a clue. (Maybe a little zone defense) Out coached and out played. Losing my 30 to LSU and 15 to Kentucky on our home to average teams is unacceptable. And UofA, try some other color man other than Zimmerman. He might be a nice guy, but I don't need someone to constantly make excuses for poor play. I rather listen to Bill Walton, and he is terrible.

To play uptempo basketball correctly the players must have a high basketball I.Q. If not it looks like a pickup basketball game. In the halfcourt game if the team passes 3 or 4 times then takes a contested 3, or a contested fade away jumper that's no good. The team doesn't seem to know what is a good or bad shot, or for that matter when to shoot!!! Hogs need to work on getting the ball inside more! All I saw last night was a team that doesn't know the game. I hope they are all going to classes daily. I didn't see any guard play that looks like it can hang on the NBA level.

The Razorbacks were 6 point favorites and playing at home.
ESPN showed a group of students holding up signs....." not in OUR place"
The senior laced Razorbacks ran the freshman laced Wildcats off the court in the beginning.

Sometimes , a team needs a little humiliating.
Last night was a game where John Calipari should have , at the final buzzer, shouted..." boys, take a victory lap "

No reason for the Razorbacks to lose that badly.
( Wally Hall isn't even using the refs as an excuse today )

regarding drs01 post................someone should tell Bradford that this isn't football , where a defensive platoon takes over.

this isn't baseball where an " all offense, no defense " player can be the DH.

You have to play BOTH in basketball........offense and defense.

"Hawgball" (Anderson's style) no longer works. Well coached teams (i.e. players) know how to beat it. Mixing defenses, zones and man to man with the occasional press, are effective but Anderson seldom reacts to what's needed. Also, his substitution "pattern" makes no sense. He often pulls Macon, Barford, and Gafford at the same time. Play the best five you can put on the court, it's as simple as that.

Where were all these whiners when the Hogs had the longest win streak in the SEC? Where were they when we just beat #21 Texas A&M? They will crawl back under their rocks and sulk after the next win.
