2 teens questioned over school threats

Authorities questioned two teenagers over threats reportedly made to schools.

In Little Rock, a 14-year-old Little Rock student said he would turn his campus into "a holocaust," according to police.

Around 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, a resource officer was informed of a student making threats to shoot up Forest Heights STEM Academy, according to a Police Department report.

The teenager was then removed from class and taken to the principal's office while officials contacted his father, police reported.

Authorities said the student faces a charge of second-degree terroristic threatening, a misdemeanor, and was issued a citation before being released to his parents.

A witness told authorities that the 14-year-old reportedly had plans of "turning [the school] into a holocaust" and had referred to killing "all races."

In North Little Rock, police reported the third school threat in the past week.

Officers responded to Calvary Academy*, a private school located at at First Pentecostal Church, 1401 Calvary Road, shortly before 8 a.m., according to a report from the city's Police Department.

The principal told officers that he received a text from a student Tuesday evening about a message from a different student that mentioned shooting and "unloading an entire magazine on students in the school," the report stated.

That 15-year-old student was interviewed by investigators and released with a juvenile citation after no weapons were found in his backpack, police said.

Bags said to hold stolen-check cache

Police on Monday arrested a homeless man who they say dropped bags containing more than two dozen stolen checks.

Jeffrey Ryan Robertson, 26, was taken into custody in southwest Little Rock and arrested on 35 criminal charges, according to an arrest report.

Officers came in contact with Robertson "in reference to a subject trying to sell a stolen pressure washer," the report says.

Police said Robertson fled from officers on foot, but was taken into custody. An officer identified bags Robertson had dropped, according to the report.

The report said the bags contained 28 stolen checks and two forged checks. An officer also found a digital scale in one of the dropped bags, police said.

Robertson was charged with 30 misdemeanor counts of theft by receiving, two felony forgery counts and one count of fleeing, among other counts.

He was listed on Pulaski County jail's inmate roster Wednesday night.
