Little Rock-based Windstream reports $1.8 billion loss in 4th quarter

Little Rock-based Windstream Holdings Inc. on Thursday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $1.84 billion, or $10.26 per share.

Revenue reported by the broadband and communications company was $1.5 billion, exceeding forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected revenue of $1.49 billion.

For the year, the broadband and communications company reported a loss of $2.12 billion, or $12.52 per share. Annual revenue was $5.85 billion.
