A Pine Bluff man is accused of nearly running over one woman before trying to take a vehicle from another in Pulaski County, authorities said.

Hunter Bost, 24, was arrested around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at 2015 E. Dixon Road, the listed address for an Exxon gas station, according to a Pulaski County sheriff’s office report.

Bost faces charges of aggravated assault on a family or household member, theft of property in an amount $25,000 or greater, second-degree domestic battery and third-degree battery.

Authorities say Bost hit and “threw around” two women — a 71-year-old and a 51-year-old — during a disturbance.

Bost almost ran over the 51-year-old with his vehicle, causing her to be knocked to the ground and suffer cuts to her ankle, according to the report.

The sheriff’s office said Bost then tried to take the 71-year-old’s vehicle but was stopped when the other victim shut the vehicle off and took the key fob.

Records show Bost remained at the Pulaski County jail as of Thursday morning, and bail had not been set. He has a court appearance scheduled for April 3.
