***plenty to like

****confident choice

1 Purse $20,000, 1 1/16 miles, 4-year-olds and up who have never won two races, claiming $8,000

***PICTURE TUBE has consistently earned the field's fastest Beyer figures, and he is taking a slight class drop after a troubled third-place finish. LEVANTO crossed the wire 3 lengths behind the top selection, which was his first start after defeating maiden-claimers by 7 lengths at Churchill. STRAWN'S CASH is taking a significant drop in price. He has moved into the winning stable of Al Cates and broke his maiden on a wet track.

**SHE LOOKS PROUD finished third in a troubled trip when finishing her 2-year-old campaign at Santa Anita. She appears to be working well for top connections and figures stronger and faster at four. LIL MISS BLUE EYES has finished in-the-money six times in an eight-race career, and her Beyer figures are fastest. She is a two-turn runner sprinting for the first time. OKIE TOAST was forwardly placed in a solid third-place finish against similar, and she is likely to benefit from a race over the track.

****NIIGON'S GLORY is back at the same class level after splashing his way to an 8-length victory, and the race has already produced two next-out winners. WILD ABOUT YOU rallied in a clear second-place finish running a marathon distance, and the beaten post-time favorite has never finished worse than second on a wet track. TREASURY BILL has a competitive wet-track record, and a poor start compromised his best when finishing sixth behind the top selection.

PP HORSE;JOCKEY;TRAINER;ODDS

5 Niigon's Glory;Contreras;McNight;8-5

4 Purse $78,000, 6 furlongs, 3-year-olds and up, Arkansas-bred, maiden special weight

**REEF'S DESTINY was showing some talent last summer at Lone Star Park, and the unraced gelding has looked good in three recent 5-furlong breezes at Oaklawn. His sire broke his maiden at first asking in impressive fashion. JUST A COINKYDINK finished with energy after finally getting to the outside in an encouraging career debut. He is a late danger if able to get it going a bit earlier. I AM has finished in-the-money in three consecutive dirt races, and his Beyer figures are best in the race.

****CHILEAN QUEEN is wheeled back in a state-bred claimer on the heels of a decisive 6-length wet-track victory, and trainer Karl Broberg likes to strike while the iron is hot. OUR ADDI BELLE rallied to third at a higher claiming price in a return from a freshening, and she won her only previous race on a wet surface. FLORIDA BIRD is a front-running two-turn runner who has competitive Beyer figures, and she may appreciate today's sprint distance.

PP HORSE;JOCKEY;TRAINER;ODDS

9 Chilean Queen;Eramia;Broberg;2-1

7 Our Addi Belle;McMahon;Martin;7-2

5 Florida Bird;Wales;Jayaraman;8-1

6 Purse $23,000, 1 mile, 4-year-olds and up, claiming $10,000

**PAGANOL finished no worse than second in four races at Remington. He is a two-time winner at Oaklawn, and the front-runner is unbeaten in three races on a wet track. MATCH UP encountered early trouble in a deceptive fifth-place finish when making his seasonal debut, and he was a two-turn winner last summer at Saratoga. INDY AWESOME faded badly in a recent marathon, but he is back at a preferred distance. He figures to rebound at this lower level.

7 Purse $78,000, 6 furlongs, fillies, 3-year-olds, maiden special weight

***SHE BEAST is a half-sister to Grade I sprinter The Big Beast, and the first-time starter has a series of sharp works. She has landed in a subpar maiden-allowance field. TAHOE DREAM finished third behind a winning front-running post-time favorite, despite traffic in the stretch. She is lightly raced and likely to improve. ETERNAL BLING managed a mild rally when sixth best in her career debut, and this appears a softer spot. Typical second-out improvement provides her a chance.

8 Purse $79,000, 1 1/16 miles, fillies, 3-year-olds, allowance optional claiming

***MIA D'ORO tracked an honest pace before drawing clear in a sharp maiden victory. She had a useful subsequent 5-furlong breeze and switches to leading rider Ricardo Santana. ESKIMO KISSES finished second behind the top selection in her local debut. She returned 18 days later and recorded a determined maiden score of her own. FIRST ALTERNATE set a rapid early pace before being caught by a late-running long-shot winner Feb. 2, and she has a license to improve with a kinder rating.

*LA FEE VERTE finished fourth in a strong maiden-allowance race just two starts back, and she is dropping into a maiden-claimer for the first time. She recorded a bullet wet-track work Saturday. MANDY'S GRACE has worked well since shipping in from Southern California, and she is also dropping into a maiden-claimer for the first time. She sports good local works. LADY WARRIOR possesses sprinter's speed and will try to steal the race under Hall of Fame rider Gary Stevens.

EXOTIC POSSIBILITIES

• The third race starts a 50-cent Pick-3, and Niigon's Glory appears to be a single. The fourth race is a full and competitive field, and several need to be used to adequately cover the race. The fifth is either a single or perhaps a three-horse race. The sixth race starts a Pick-4, and several contenders make for a possible upset winner. The seventh race may have a special talent in She Beast, otherwise it is a race to spread out. The eighth race is a three-horse race at best, and the ninth is contentious and one needs to spread out.
