An Arkansan pleaded guilty to video voyeurism Wednesday for filming a woman with his phone as she dressed at a gym in 2017, the Hot Springs Sentinel-Record reported.

Eric Shane Couch, 30, of Hot Springs, was sentenced to 30 days in jail — which he will be able to serve on weekends — and three years of probation, according to the newspaper. He was also fined $1,000.

A probable cause affidavit cited by the Sentinel-Record states that Hot Springs police were called to Flex Fitness, 2303 Albert Pike Road, about 6:30 a.m. June 26.

There, a woman said she had exited a tanning bed fully nude and started to get dressed when she noticed a cellphone over the partition wall, which was removed as soon as she saw it. Patrons reportedly told the victim that Couch had walked into the tanning section shortly after she did.

The 30-year-old was arrested July 12 after he told police he held the cellphone over the wall, though he pleaded not guilty to the charge Sept. 25, the newspaper reported.
