Bullet fired at Little Rock home landed in daughter's bed, woman tells police

A bullet was fired into a Little Rock home Thursday night as four people, including a 6-year-old child, were present, police said.

Officers responded around 10:10 p.m. to a residence in the 1600 block of South Pierce Street, according to a report from the city's Police Department.

A 45-year-old woman told police that her daughter was lying in bed when a bullet went through her bedroom wall.

The daughter said she heard around eight shots ring out south of the home before a bullet traveled through her wall and in the bed.

Apart from the 45-year-old, three other people were listed as victims: a 6-year-old boy as well as two women in their 20s. No one was reported injured.

Two vehicles were then seen speeding north on Pierce Street, authorities noted. One was listed as a white 2000 Lincoln Town Car. A complete description of the other vehicle wasn’t available.

Police found the bullet at the home and a shell casing in the 5700 block of 17th Street.

No suspects were named, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
