The trail of money, and laundering schemes, and false documents, and tax evasions, and dirty money funneled from foreigners is long and winding. It is, however, a thread that is becoming unraveled. We are starting to see more and more how it would be possible to get much of this foreign power dumped into a political campaign.
Since they are always controversial, I will bring up the NRA. How much of their millions in contributions during the 2016 elections were from Russia? Reports indicate they spent $30 million overall. We may yet know the answer.
It's also interesting to note that prior to his becoming trump's campaign manager in 2016, Manafort was scrambling around for money. He and Gates were committing acts of fraud on various banks to obtain loans. Then, around Jul '16, and continuing to Jan '17. they managed to secure about $30 million in loans. I wonder what changed?
