Berryville 63, Dardanelle 38

The host Lady Bobcats took over in the second half and earned a berth in today's semifinals as three players scored in double figures.

Berryville (29-2) led only 27-21 at halftime, but outscored Dardanelle (18-12) 36-17 in the second half to win going away.

Sophomore Lexy Anderson led the Lady Bobcats with a game-high 27 points. Baylea Smith added 14 and Aspen Smith scored 11.

Janna Rhinehart led Dardanelle with 10 points.

Ozark 57, Prairie Grove 50

The Lady Hillbillies were challenged the entire way before pulling out a close win against Prairie Grove.

Ozark scored 22 first-quarter points and appeared to have a comfortable cushion, but the Lady Tigers battled back by limiting the Lady Hillbillies to just 5 points in the second quarter.

Hannah Ladd poured in 23 points for Ozark and Ariel Walker added 12. Lauren Lane scored 10.

Sarah James Stone scored 14 for Prairie Grove and Lexie Madewell added 9.

Boys

Booneville 57, Shiloh Christian 57 (OT)

The Bearcats outscored Shiloh Christian 4-3 in overtime to claim a one-point win Thursday.

The game was tied at 54-54 at the end of regulation. Booneville (21-12) held the Saints without a field goal in overtime.

Blakley Cobb led the Bearcats with 18 points and Logan Bradley added 16 including the only field goal in overtime.

Jack Hutchinson scored a game-high 20 points for Shiloh Christian (16-12). Seth Turpin and Reagan Neal scored 10 points each.

Pea Ridge 54, Subiaco Academy 38

The Blackhawks punched their ticket to the Class 4A state tournament with a 16-point win over Subiaco Academy.

Pea Ridge played tough defense the entire way, holding Subiaco Academy to under 10 points in two quarters.

Nick Coble led the Blackhawks with 18 points and Landon Allison scored 14.

Elvis Janga scored 15 for the Trojans and James Taylor added 12.

3A Region 1

at Two Rivers (Ola)

Girls

Elkins 50, Perryville 42

Elkins made a third-quarter comeback in order to defeat Perryville and earn a trip to next week's Class 3A State Tournament.

The Lady Elks trailed 24-20 at halftime but outscored the Lady Mustangs 18-8 to take a 38-32 lead.

Tink Harris had 16 points and Carle Burton 11 for Elkins, which plays host Two Rivers in today's 4 p.m. semifinal game. Tori Hayes had 24 for Perryville while Brooklyn Schmelter added 12.

Lamar 56, Greenland 51

Greenland led 38-37 after three quarters but couldn't hold on as Lamar rallied and defeated the Lady Pirates.

Fiona Wilson had 25 points for Greenland, followed by Myae Mason with 16 and Destiny Jackson with 10. Lakyn Sanders paced Lamar with 24 while Aspen Williams chipped in 14.

Boys

Elkins 78, Paris 58

Chad Graham had 18 points to lead a trio of Elkins players in double figures as the Elks rolled past Paris.

Ethan Hipps and Layne Evans added 14 apiece for the Elks, who built a 44-28 halftime cushion. Kris Graham led Paris with 22 points.

Jessieville 57, Cedarville 42

Jessieville raced out to a 19-5 lead in the first quarter and posted the win over Cedarville.

Braxton Shifflett had 16 points for the Lions, who led 32-15 at halftime and 47-30 after three quarters, followed by Alex Burleson and Bryan Morgan with 10 each. Heath Earnhardt led Cedarville with 13 points.

3A Region 3

At Melbourne

Wednesday

Boys

Manila 65, Marshall 48

The Lions dominated in the second half and rolled to a first-round win Wednesday.

Manila (21-10) led just 28-26 at halftime, but outscored Marshall 37-26 in the second half to win going away as Bradey Woodall poured in a game-high 28 points.

Brock Birmingham added 18 for the Lions, who were 12-of-16 at the free-throw line in the fourth quarter.

Jacob Loggins and Isaac Ragland scored 17 points each for Marshall.

Girls

Riverside 53, Bergman 43

The Lady Rebels took a fast lead and never let it go in a 10-point win Wednesday.

Riverside (35-1) led 32-22 at halftime. Haven Robertson scored a game-high 21 points for Riverside and Lotti Hoffman added 11.

Courtney Menke led Bergman with 12 points and Jessie Van Lear added 10.

Mountain View 69, Rivercrest 48

The Lady Yellowjackets scored 25 first-quarter points and rolled to a 21-point win to advance to today's semifinals.

Kaley Shipman scored 11 of her game-high 20 points in the first quarter for Mountain View (24-2). Aubrey Isbell added 12 for the Lady Yellowjackets.

Sydney Lane scored 11 for Rivercrest and Dede Williams added 10.

Girls

Bigelow 65, Danville 61

Jill Nutt poured in a game-high 34 points to help Bigelow hold off Danville.

Bigelow led 31-29 at halftime but pushed the lead to 52-44 after three quarters. Alexis Minnie led Danville with 15 points, while Maddie Stanley added 14 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.

Hackett 58, Pangburn 50

Cassie Bell poured in a game-high 28 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead Hackett to the victory.

Maggie Bell added 11 points and Taylor Glass 10 for Hackett, which led 29-22 at halftime. Tylar Vernon led Pangburn with 17,w hile Kylee Huggins added 16.

Boys

England 54, Hackett 43

England pulled away in the second half to earn the first-round win.

Corey Hunter pumped in a game-high 16 points for England, while Warren Green added 15. Tanner Hamilton led Hackett with 10 points and a game-high eight rebounds.

Jacksonville Lighthouse 43, Eureka Springs 32

Jacksonville Lighthouse outscored Eureka Springs 18-6 in the fourth quarter to rally for the win.

Erick Miles led all scorers with 14 points for Jacksonville Lighthouse, while Devonte Davis added 13. Garret Cross led Eureka Springs with 12.

at Alpena

Girls

Alpena 73, Western Grove 42

Whit Coffelt scored all of her 14 points in the second half as host Alpena pulled away from Western Grove for a first-round win.

Alex Hill and Cheyenne Wilcox each added 13 for Alpena, which led 23-22 at halftime but outscored Western Grove 21-11 in the third quarter to start pulling away, while Abby Dean chipped in 10. Hailey Wood had 18 and Abbi Breer 10 for Western Grove.

Kingston 58, St. Joe 56

Brooke Barron had 11 of Kingston's 18 fourth-quarter points as the Lady Yellowjackets slipped past St. Joe after the two teams were tied at 40 at the end of three quarters.

Barron finished with 27 to lead Kingston, while Breanna Emitt added 14 and Paige Johnson 10. Madison Phillips had 16 to lead St. Joe, followed by Angel Lafallette with 14 and Brooklynn Baker with 11.

Boys

Kingston 61, Jasper 53

Kingston took a 17-15 lead after one quarter and slowly pulled away from Jasper en route to a win over the Pirates.

Dylan Murrell scored 14 of Kingston's first-quarter points and finished with 20, while Cooper Riley added 19 and Jacob Murrell chipped in 16. Caleb Carter had 17 for Jasper, 11 in the first quarter, while Evan Brasel added 10.

Deer 42, Alpena 41

Caden Young had 19 points as Deer held off the host team and earned the right to a rematch with Omaha tonight.

The Antlers led 20-15 at halftime, only to have Alpena cut it to a 26-25 margin after three quarters. Braylee Bell had 11 for Alpena, while Corey Holsted added 10.

Boys

Scranton 80, Oden 68

Zack Plugge scored 24 points to lead Scranton past Oden in a first-round game Wednesday.

Alex Bailey added 18 points for Scranton, which led 39-31 at halftime. Hunter Fleming contributed 12 points, Cobey Pinatado 11, and Caesar Rodriguez 10.

Will Monk scored 26 points to lead Oden.

Thursday

Boys

County Line 61, Dierks 47

The Indians punched their ticket to the semifinals with a win Thursday against the host Dierks.

Tyler Young scored 15 points to lead four players in double figures. Pacyn Reames scored 13 for County Line (34-3) and Evan Johnston and Gage Gattis scored 12 apiece.
