SPRINGDALE — Construction of the U.S. 412 bypass requires sections of the Razorback Greenway to be closed in Springdale and Lowell beginning Monday.
Crews will be restoring the trail to its pre-construction location, which requires closures Monday through March 16, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation officials. The closed sections are:
• Parallel to Silent Grove Road near Charismatic Avenue in north Springdale
• On South Goad Springs Street under Interstate 49 near Burrell Place in Lowell
Those using the trail are encouraged to avoid these areas during working hours. Trail traffic proceeding through work zones along active roadways should walk through with caution and be aware of vehicle, trail and construction traffic. Warning signs and barricades will be in place to communicate the trail’s closures.
